COMING FROM THE NORTH · From the North take 167 South · Take HWY 512 West Exit (just past Sumner) · From Puyallup just take HWY 512 West- Take the Canyon Road/Summit Exit · Go South (turn left) on Canyon Road E and go about 5 miles · Turn right on 176th St E. & go West for 2.6 miles · The Tacoma Unit will be on the left side · Turn left on the 14th Ave. E. For entrance to Tacoma Unit
COMING FROM I-5 SOUTH · Take I-5 North from Olympia or I-5 South from Tacoma · Take HWY 512 Exit (Puyallup, Mt Rainier) and go East for 2.1 miles · Take the Pacific Avenue exit and go South (right turn at the light) for 4.5 miles · Turn left on 176th St. S. And go East for 1.1 miles · The Tacoma Unit will be on the right hand side · Turn right down 14th Ave. E. & use the second entrance on the right for the Tacoma Unit

Meet Your Judges! Kim Gately World Champion, all-around horse trainer, Kimberly Gately owns and manages Paradise Stables in Woodinville, WA. Kim is a carded APHA judge, judging shows across the country and has many APHA World and Reserve World Champion titles in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Huntseat Equitation, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunters (over fences), Western Riding, Trail, Equitation, Pleasure Driving and Reining. While Kim is currently making her mark in the Paint and Pinto industry, she actually began her career showing Arabians and NSH horses. Kim has shown at the Canadian Nationals, US Nationals, Scottsdale and many more. She rode saddleseat on her NSH horses. Kim specializes in All Around Youth and Amateur- above is a 2007 World Show Photo with two of her student/horse pairs- two World Champions. We are very excited to have a judge with such a diverse background! |

Burns Many of you will recognize the name! Patty Burns from Buckley, WA has been a long time favorite judge in Washington state. Patty is a carded Senior judge for Washington State Horsemen. Patty's experience includes Western & English Pleasure, Stock Seat Equitation, Reining and more! patty is also a carded Washington State Horsemen steward as well as a card carrying judge for WAHSET. We consider ourselves very lucky that Patty was able to accept our invitation to judge this show! Most all of her weekends are filled. |
